What should I write about for my environment essay?
Question by Jason Wang: What should I write about for my environment essay?
What should I write about for my environment essay? I need to choose a topic, but there are so many (land use, water use, water quality, air quality, waste managment, forest managment and conservation, food production, pesticides and toxins). Which one has a lot of information and where can I find the information? I need to write about the causes and effects of the environmental problem.
Thank you for your help.

WRITE ABOUT POWER HEIRARCHIES (CAUSE) AND HOW OPPRESSION OF SELECT GROUPS OF PEOPLES IS DIRECTLY RELATED TO POLLUTION OF THE ENVIRONMENT OF WHICH WE LIVE.

Environmental racism, an internationally recognized sociological term referring to the enactment of any policy or regulation that negatively affects the living conditions of low-income or minority communities at a rate disproportionate from affluent communities.[1]
The phenomenon can be either intentional or unintentional, and the term is often used to describe specific events in which minority communities are targeted for the siting of polluting industries and factories.[2] The term also describes the segregation of minority communities into regions where they are exposed to health hazards because property in polluted areas is inexpensive.[3] It can also encompass the exclusion of minority groups from the decision-making process in their communities.
Since the coining of the term environmental racism, researchers have investigated why minority communities are more likely to reside in environmentally degraded areas, and whether it constitutes intentional or unintentional discrimination.[4]
The environmental justice movement is intended to combat environmental racism; environmental justice is “the fair treatment and meaningful involvement of all people regardless of race, color, sex, national origin, or income with respect to the development, implementation and enforcement of environmental laws, regulations, and policies.”

Don’t bother with “climate change” unless you plan on being a suck up with no interest in the truth in your life.
How about writing about how climate change has been so politicized now days that the truth is often buried and the lies are propagated for a financial benefit to the industy.

You could write about invasive species, their impact on native species and native food webs, and management techniques. There are plenty of well known examples ranging from burmese pythons and asian carp to stink bugs and japanese knotweed.
