You don’t know that for sure. Most professors I had are conservatives.

It almost seems like the more someone learns the more liberal they become. Weird. There may be an answer to the question in this observation.

Because some people are cowards and don’t know how to stand up for themselves.

I have yet to see a liberal professor.

The radical libs took over the school sysytem to dumb down America, and its working! Just like they are doing with the media!

Conservatism is about maintaining things as they are. Discovering new things means trying new ideas.

The vast majority of college profs don’t live in the real world, like libs.

“Most college professors are liberal, most college students are liberal, most of the administration/faculty are liberal. Most postsecondary institutions are completely controlled by the left”
Well, if you can show some proof, that would help tremendously.
Why are there young college Republicans (giggles) since colleges are so liberal?

Those who can–do. Those who cant–teach. Most students eventually grow up and see liberalism for the utter farce of hypocrisy it is. Unlike their former “professors” who’ve never had to accomplish anything or contribute to anything other than theoretical hogwash.

Because teachers don’t have to work hard, they get tons of holidays, they can’t get fired no matter how incompetent they are, and they have a captive audience.
Perfect job for liberals.

The hippies from the sixties grew up and became professors because work was too hard.

That is not true. I go to a very conservative University and my professors are usually conservative.

Wait, the educated people are liberal? That’s so weird! I wonder why it is that most trailer parks have a conservative bias….so weird.

It depends, but yes, mostly. Most professors at my universities are very good professionals, but when you do get the ones who don’t have a problem using class time to yap on and on about their political agenda, it is generally the liberals. And they do do this even when their political views are only partially relatable to class time.
This is true times 100 if you are in an anthro or a soci class, fyi.

No clear cut reason but most college and universities are definitely liberal minded. . 84% of professors and instructors surveyed are, strongly or somewhat, in favor of abortion rights ; 70% believe homosexuality is acceptable ; and 90% want more environmental protection “even if it raises prices or costs jobs” What’s more, 65 percent want the government to ensure full employment, a stance to the left of the Democratic Party.
The most left-leaning departments are English literature, philosophy, political science and religious studies.Study of higher learning is broad-based and the more open-minded the better.

In the 1960s the communists (USSR) infiltrated positions of power; education, media, Hollywood, government and the courts. The rest is history.
It’s like a virus. It invades a cell (university) and uses the reproductive mechanism of the cell to produce more of the virus, which goes out and invades other cells, forcing them to create more virus. Eventually the body politic elects a communist President.
