52 fatalities and counting… you just can’t beat green technology!
I was being facetious to highlight the deaths as they are an extremely serious matter!
I certainly would not buy a Prius for my grandmother!

Nothing like a denier to make light of deaths.

52 out of 100 million.
Ok, so maybe 52 people died. But a whole bunch of other people died from other car models. The Prius is just getting extra attention because it’s a hi-tech alternative fuel vehicle.
Anyway… there willll be better hybrids coming out.. someone had to take the first step. And the first computer didn’t work very well, either!

The question was funny.
The fact people are dying is not. The tie in to green technology is dishonest.
You should have just kept it to the question in my opinion

Honestly? I think the whole Prius out of control thing was just a stunt by the driver. People want to get attention and that dude sure did.
I would know enough to shut off the ignition or put the car in neutral way before I would call 911.

It’s laughable that the greenest thing about the Prius is that it takes care of the overpopulation problem.

SUV fatalities, table 3, page 17 – 4607 in 1998 alone.
Green has a long way to go to catch up to the unpatriotic.

Yes I do agree wholeheartedly too, it’s probably human nature followed by corporate stupidity. Once that government controlled news media gets something in their crawl? (phony climate change crisis) they never let go…

What would substitute for the police car to stop the warming like the cop stopped the Prius? The Earth is coming out of an Ice Age and who would stop it and what would the consequences of the stopping be? We just don’t know. We don’t understand much, but we act like such know-it-alls.
Fortunately, I have a 2000 Honda Insight with standard transmission. Whew! It had a Bush sticker on it which made some people angry. I know that Texas had the highest percentage of wind energy per capita after Bush was Governor there. He would have done that for the country except everyone has to hate him, or be a freak like me.
